Press F1 to see the keyboard layout. Select is BACK in the game API; C and D are X and Y. Player 1 uses the numeric keypad, including its Enter key; the main Enter key is unassigned. The keypad works with Num Lock on or off.

Either player can navigate the launcher with Up/Down and select with A. Select or D returns from a submenu.

The Keyboard · F1 button also opens help. Try keys in the overlay to light them up without controlling the game; press Escape or F1 to close it.

The Making games presentation includes Run this checkpoint buttons. Each opens a complete runnable version of Dream Garden containing the features introduced up to that slide. Early stages start directly; later stages begin with the title screen. Press A to begin those.

To change code, create assets and save your own game, set up the desktop emulator. The desktop and browser run the same game API and circular rendering model.
